About once a month you'll find Poppy and I trolling the aisles of Target and filling our cart with essentials like princess lip gloss, Tiana bandaids and other basic needs of a 4 year-old. Once in a while I actually slip something in the cart for myself!

Beginning on March 14, Target will be carrying a special collection by Liberty of London and I am head over heels wild for their prints. They are colorful, vibrant and happy. And the line looks incredible with everything from ties to bicycles and everything in between. I am planning to grab some Garla print pillows, the adorable teapot in the Sixty print and I'm kind of loving the Dunclare Pink bowls...oh and there are clothes too!

The Stuffies Are Taking Over

We live in a rather small, but cute one bedroom apartment in San Francisco. Sharing that space with a three year old has given new meaning to space management. Poppy loves, no, let me rephrase that with more emphasis, LOVES stuffed animals... aka "stuffies". As hard as I try to get her to do a once a quarter "cleanse" of stuffies and donate them to our local SPCA, I still find the stuffies are slowly taking over our space.

And, as much as I love an organized space, I do not like ugly or boring containers. So, I launched a search for a cute, but practical storage bin. It had to fit a few basic requirements. It had to be cute, under $40 and it had to collapse in case we need the space at some point.

I found the perfect container from 3 Sprouts. I purchased the owl container because I love the colors orange and brown and the owl is so dang cute I just could not stand it and bonus, it's organic!  They have monkeys and elephants too.

Handy Mommy

In the spirit of being a modern mommy, today I broke out the tools and built Poppy's new bookcase. Since she recently discovered Handy Manny, she is obsessed with tools and building and could not wait to help. I have to admit, the bookcase (Land of Nod) was easy to put together and we had a blast doing it. Who would have thought it?! Pardon the picture quality as they were quick snaps from my iPhone after P went to bed.
